7.3/10 - Damn.... , (15 mins), A story that is even more interesting in hind site. I expected the way the game would end, the way it did however it was still done masterfully. The actual game itself is very simple and the graphics are basic but also somewhat pretty. But the game is carried by how great the story telling and ending is. Just go into the game blind and enjoy the story!

Played this for my 31 Game October challenge. By far the scariest so far. Good Job.

Gostei muito do jogo, foi divertido e com um final muito surpreendente.

Me and my friends were playing it and we jokingly called the ending. It was still a surprise and really good.

This was fun, if a little disturbing :)

(Your game begins at 11:56)

Now that is a hell of a creative take on the prompt. Take the Extra-terrestrial and make it little more than whimsical window dressing for something far more mundane... and way worse.

It's not super scary exactly, but it is certainly one of the most unique games in the jam just from the base idea - and big props to your narrator, who gives this a lot of fun energy right out of the gate. Good stuff!

There is a bug with the campfire where after finishing the dialogue the movement controls stop working. I replayed it and still couldn't get the character to move. The build I downloaded is the newest one too. (I made sure that it was.)

I'm unsure what this could be but a few people have experienced it. Thank you for playing anyway, If I can figure it out and you still want to play I will let you know :)

I still enjoyed it for what's worth. Saw the conclusion in someone elses recorded playthrough.

Thanks for playing! I hope it being in English wasn't too big of a problem!

I loved this! The game wasn't overall super scary but the story implications were terrifying. The voice acting was really good too and I liked the narrator style gameplay! I just wish is was longer :) 10/10

Thanks so much!

Absolutely LOVED this. The narration was so well done, the pacing felt perfect and the final moments were definitely tense. I'm not sure if it was supposed to end how it did for me, but I'm really glad it ended the way it did. If I had to nitpick ANYTHING it would be that the scale of objects felt off. The stairs/boxes in the house all seemed to be half my height and that was a bit strange.

I'd LOVE to see more games like this. A real gem here on Itch.

Thanks for playing, and we're glad you liked it! You're right, the ending isn't supposed to end like that, it's just an issue with things being interacted with too early or collision box's not being hit, but thanks for making us aware we'll get it all fixed up. Regarding the boxes and stairs, whilst they may seem oversized it was intended as we wanted the player to feel like they're playing a small child, so that meant making things larger than normal to give that perspective.

Again, thanks for playing!

Thank you! We'll get that sorted :)

Nice job with the game!
Although I wish the game had a button for running. I understand why it's not there, but it was really frustrating to walk with that slow speed.
Specially with my case that I didn't get my character inputs back after the first encounter with alien beside the camp fire. I couldn't move.
And also a pause button for exiting the game would be nice too.
Best of luck!

Please please, add a Framerate limiter on All Unreal Engine games like this or it consumes 99.99% of everyones GPU. Settings/Options for UE games need to be limited to a slider/60fps/custom so it doesn't try to take 300-900fps and take 99% of my Nvidia 3090 when its clearly not needing it, thanks!

Oh of course! We'll get that added asap
